This thing is badass! I am a bit surprised that it didn’t go deeper into the 9's though as the 60' wasn’t terrible and the fact it makes that much power. The car probably weighs a lot more than I think.

Wow, I’m really impressed they kept it transverse! Great build. A lot of people rag on LS swaps, but it’s hard to deny to positives. The original V8 is obscenely expensive to keep on the road given how few of them were produced.

This goes for almost any rare engine. At the end of the day if you want to drive a old jalpa or anything old regularly you win with a ls swap 99% of the time 1% is the lack of original sound of the car. When the datsun still had a 6cyl it was a shit show all the time . Put a LS in it and haven’t had an issue.

I can’t believe one of the 400 Jalpas made it to Victoria, Australia - where I live! Vicroads tells me this is currently road-registered as an ‘88 Lambo.
God forbid I should ever see it on the streets, you better believe I’ll post some pics here.

Australia is hands down the most car crazy country. Between the hill climbers and burnout-ers . I’d love to move to Australia from the US it’s just pretty difficult to find work when your on the other side of the planet.
